Terrible and confusing experience.
For the first part I was invited to their office (which looks very "hipsterish" and nice by the way). In the office I have met with their HR and project manager which were both late to the meeting. The HR didn't actually provide any information about the company, she only introduced me to the project manager and immediately left.
The project manager didn't ask me anything - instead he described the project a bit and offered me to ask him any questions (which I did :) ). After that he suggested to prepare a small homework for my skills assessment and said goodbye. During my weekend I have prepared the homework and sent it back to them...
And here is where the fun part starts :)) . They told me that they had accepted the homework and will let me know about the results ASAP. But this didn't happen: neither in a week, nor in a month :). Just out of curiosity I've written to my recruiter asking to check how is it going. And guess what! Immediately their recruiter has written me back saying that they had no time to check the solution :o. The next day I've got a positive feedback on my homework from their developers and was invited to the meeting with team.
Then there happened another even more fun part :D. When I came to the address specified in their invitation I have found out that there is no such company at all (actually it was some residential house). When I contacted them I was told that they have changed the address (yep, no need to notify me about it at all :))) ), so I walked to that another address wasting 20 minutes.
When I came in there and found their office guess what they told me? Haha - this project team is on the third address (the one I visited during my first interview). It was the moment when I already wanted to just turn around and go home but simply out of curiosity I went to that third address.
When I came to the third address they told me that I was actually correct on the second address and the team I was looking for was simply in another office of that building. Whaaaat?! ))))) Ok, so I got back to the second address and finally found the team (wasting an hour of my time in total).
So finally I've met the team, whohooo! I was invited to the lunch by them which was very nice of them until I have found out that it was just a normal lunch, so nobody was going to pay for me. Which was quite disappointing since they took me to quite a fancy place and I don't usually spend that much for lunch. During the lunch they didn't really ask me anything, we were chatting about general stuff. But they were nice.
After the lunch I was told that they will contact me ASAP regarding the next steps.
Aaand guess.... of course they didn't. So I decided to just forget this whole story. But it's not so easy, because after several more weeks they sent me an invitation for another interview with a completely different team. Again, just because it was funny I agreed.
And at the day of the interview they notified me that they cannot make it that day and would contact me ASAP regarding another date ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
I think I will just not go that next one.
