Interview
I went in very open minded to this interview, with hopes to talk about my experience and why I was passionate for the role. Unfortunately I felt like I wasn’t given the chance to really talk about this and instead it was all based on hypothetical scenarios rather than me as a person.
For what was advertised as an entry level role I left feeling like they wanted me to have a lot more HR experience to answer their questions. I felt the process was unnecessarily formal and serious making it overall not enjoyable. I think that the concept of an hour test before the interview was overly daunting and feel it was something which could’ve been made shorter or just asked in interview questions instead.
Case study to start. Asked 3 questions about how I would handle a caregiver with an injury that stopped them doing their job. Given 40 Mins. Then 20 mins on self assessment. Then 10 interview questions which you are marked out of 10. All questions were based on how you would handle issues related to hr. Eg someone shouting at a client, coming in drunk ect and what actions you would take as a HR employee.
