I was contacted by Crimson Cup about a month after applying. The first step was a phone interview, which lasted about 30 minutes.
Following the phone call, we set up an interview at Crimson Cup's innovation lab. I was given a tour of the facility and spoke with two different employees about the brand, my qualifications, and the position. I was a bit taken aback by the response to my answer about the regular customers at my current position. The interviewer laughed and commented on the fact that I had named many male customers for some reason. That really stuck out to me because I wasn't sure what he meant by that.
I was given a freshly brewed cup of coffee at the end of my interview and went on my way. I asked when I could expect to be contacted while I was about to exit the innovation lab and was told within a couple weeks.
About 2 1/2-3 weeks later I sent an email inquiring if a decision had been made. I did not receive a reply. I sent another email on November 7th after having my interview on September 13th. November 8th I was sent a short reply stating that the position had been filled.
Crimson Cup knew that I had driven from out of town for the interview and was extremely interested. It was really disappointing to be ignored. I really wish they could have at least given me a quick email stating that I did not receive the position.
