I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Curia (Albany, NY) in Aug 2012
Interview
Overall the interview process wasn't difficult. They made arrangements to have me stay overnight at a Hotel and even reimbursed all my travelling expenses; seemed like a pretty first class organization. The interview itself was pretty straight forward; no presentation required, though you had the option to do one. It was a series of half hour interviews with various scientists, a director and a HR rep. Questions were pretty standard behavioral and technical questions. Be prepared to talk about your previous work.
Also worth noting, they offer a really nice relocation package...I guess that is to lure you in as their pay is way below industry standards.

Interview
I have interviewed with this company for 3 positions over the years, never making it to the final stage, but making it to the 2nd interview once.
I applied to a Research Scientist position for their Buffalo location and was informed that I was actually being interviewed for the Rensselaer, New York location.
The first HR interview for this position was lasted less
than 20 minutes. The interviewer did not seem to know a whole lot about his company and could not answer my questions about the business side of their company at all. He seemed extremely disinterested and just going through the motions.
I was promised a reply within 7 days and never heard back from the company. About 8 weeks after the interview, I received a letter of rejection.

Interview
I was contacted about a week after applying online. 30 minute HR interview and then 100 minute interview with a senior scientist. I was recommended to prepare a 45 minute presentation for an onsite interview and also to prep for easy chemistry questions and then radio silence. Over 6 weeks and I have still yet to hear back.
