The interview process for my internship at DCPS was a straightforward but meaningful experience. After submitting my application, I was invited to an in-person interview with one of the project managers. During the interview, we discussed my educational background in architecture and construction management, my interest in the construction industry, and my eagerness to gain hands-on experience. The interviewer also asked situational questions to gauge my communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment. The conversation was informal but informative, and I was offered the internship shortly after. The process helped set clear expectations for the role and gave me insight into the company’s collaborative and growth-focused culture.
