We regret if there was any miscommunication in regards to this candidate and their experience. We understand how stressful and time sensitive a job search can be. We are passionate about our interview process with all candidates, but as is standard in an interview process for most organizations, candidates are always more than welcome to reach back out to us to follow up if they haven’t heard back or would like more information or an update. The candidate was offered a position and was informed the offer was at the top of the budget for the role. They declined the offer and countered with a different compensation which was out of budget for the role. We considered their counter but were unable to move from the original offer. We explained we would keep them in mind when a position, which would be higher in compensation and more in line with their experience, became available. We regret if the candidate had perceived a time line for a return phone call, but unfortunately we have not had a need to hire again in this office for a similar role.
