Had a brief phone call with the hiring manager, after which I was invited to do an hour-long reporter test. Final interview was with the managing editor and then I received an offer from HR after 7-10 days. Entire process took about a month.

A recruiter reached out. I had four rounds of interviews but found out after my last interview from the recruiter that they had already hired/offered someone else the role just as I was starting the process. Also some conflicting information about what was happening with the publication from the different people I interviewed and what the recruiter told me.
