Our interview process is intentionally thorough. Because our BDR role is performance-driven and client-facing, we do require an assessment and professional references prior to moving forward with interviews. This helps ensure we are being thoughtful and respectful of both the candidate’s time and our team’s time before advancing in the process. Reference checks at this stage are part of how we evaluate alignment, coachability, and prior performance.
During the interview process, we aim to be fully transparent about compensation, expectations, and role structure. The BDR position includes an hourly rate plus commission, and we discuss compensation early so candidates can determine whether it aligns with their goals. We also outline our remote work setup, including the use of a personal computer during the first 90 days, as part of our onboarding process before company equipment is issued.
