First round of interview was alright.
Second round was a case study which was a disaster:
- they did not make any prior disclosures that I would have to dial into a meeting and share ALL screens on my personal laptop, not just the screen I was working on. It was unnecessarily invasive and off-putting.
- the file sent over was full of errors, shows lack of care to candidates that they did not review their work beforehand.
I declined to move forward.

Question 1
What are the current stakeholders you interact with within your role
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Demica (London, England) in Apr 2024
Interview
A positive process - 3 stages to the interview process, with both team members and senior management participating. There were a range of topics covered, including my experience, technical skills, and 'soft skills'.
Timelines were clearly communicated throughout, leaving no issues around 'waiting in limbo', and feedback was provided at each stage. There was also ample opportunity for me to ask questions, very much emphasising the two-way nature of the interview process.
