First 2 interviews were ok, they do put you through the ringer but nothing I couldn't handle. At th final in person interview I picked up the strong sense the Vise President of Physician services is a bit totalitarian but was offered an average salary that was a bit higher than my current company but with better benefits. They stated several times that I had everything they wanted for the position and that I answered my questions in a calm and friendly matter and seem knowledgeable in my position. Was asked to research something when I left which I promptly Emailed back and I was told that I showed that I am extremely capable of researching and that they would make a decision the next day. I was very open with my current employer of my intent of leaving and since I respect and admire my CRO I wanted to give her plenty of time to find my replacement. The next day I get an Email from the vice president letting me know she had been trying to reach my references which had 2 of my current superiors on, I did not see the Email until after 2 PM but I had been asked by those 2 superiors out to lunch and we discussed me staying and we came yo an agreement. As soon as I got back to the office I saw the Dermcare Email and I replied very professionally and expressed my gratitude but that I was going to stay with my company. I received what many people have described as extremely unprofessional and nasty Email back from that same vice president, and I chose not to reply to her but I realized I needed to write a review. I feel sorry for whomever they hire for that position as I know for a fact they will have a hard time dealing with that lady.
