Interview

The process was thorough and involved several levels of conversation. It started with an ask for a very specific, not generic cover letter that asked questions related to the role. After that there was a phone screen with the hiring manager followed by a follow up call and then an in-person interview with the relevant team. From there a lot of the conversation was structured around the role and flexibility. Overall it was a thorough, honest and open process and left both sides comfortable with the decision.

I met with key stakeholders on the Development team at which time we discussed my technical background, why I preferred certain technologies, working style, etc. The meeting was started with an ice-breaker to ease the tension and ended with a brief meeting with the managing partner.
