Friendly and technical... more of a conversation than an interview. Met with the director first then some of the team and another director. Was a 3 step process and was fully virtual.
- Questions around culture were priortized.

I had one interview round with the hiring manager. It was a very interactive round and I really enjoy learning about the team and the work. The next round was with the HR and finally I received the offer.
- What projects did you work on?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Digital Federal Credit Union in Nov 2022
An external recruiter reached out to me about the position and we scheduled a video introduction call. He was wonderful to talk to and covered a lot of information about the company and took a lot of notes. Next, I video interviewed with the hiring manager and a consultant working with the CEO. Next, I interviewed with two other VP level leaders in the consumer lending departments. After that, I received an offer. I start in a couple weeks and I am very excited!
- Tell me about a time you thought about something in a different way and how your thought process got you there? Tell me about a time you did not agree with someone senior to you and how you handled it. Give an example of your leadership style and how you helped develop someone.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Digital Federal Credit Union in Dec 2021
I had a virtual interview that went great or so I thought. Answered a few questions like “What do you like about sales” “What don’t you like about sales” and “When did you provide great service”. At the end of the interview I was asked if there was anything that would come up in a credit review and I was honest and explained that they would see that I have a charged off account. I have been struggling for the last year and a half like most of the world with the pandemic. I received an email the same day saying “Congratulations you’re moving on to the next step” (background check and credit pull) only to be told they will not be moving forward with me because of my credit report. Waste of time as I had already explained what would show in the report.
- What don’t you like about sales

Easy fun and enjoyable lots of games also going to know each other. I was he did online interview because of Covid but overall it was an easy process we were able to redo the videos as many times as you want until you feel comfortable with your response.
- That’s all the questions about the company itself like what did I know personally I would have a little piece of paper with all the information they also asked situational questions which honestly were pretty tough.

it was on the phone for 2 rounds because of quarantine. to me i did not like it that way because i feel like being in person is much better. the first interview i had to record myself answering questions and the second interview i had with an actual person.
- if you have a disgruntled member how would you handle that situation?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Boston, MA
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Digital Federal Credit Union (Boston, MA) in Jul 2021
I was brought to the third round of the interview process and asked to deliver a short presentation to a panel, which went well enough from my vantage point; however, I never received any decision one way or another. I emailed the hiring manager after a week and then after three weeks, and still did not receive an answer. I think it's a matter of basic respect and human decency to let someone know of a decision one way or another especially after you have brought someone through three rounds of interviews and especially after you ask them to create a customized presentation for the role and company. These small things make a very big difference and I believe speak to the basic ethics and character that are (or are not) present at a company. They have since reposted the role, which I assume means that it was a failed search. That is fine, and it happens, but have the basic human decency and respect to let someone know about such a decision. It also just strikes me as a little hypocritical that for a role focused on creating inclusion, they fail to practice that when it comes to hiring practices for this role.
- Why are you interested in this role? Talk to me about your professional experiences How do you design workshops? Are they primarily yours that you created or have you facilitated others’ workshops that they’ve developed? What are your top three strengths? What are some areas of improvement? What are a few DE&I projects you’ve done? How do you handle conflict? Tell me about a time when you’ve taken ownership or initiative for something. Where do you see this role fitting into your 5-year and 10-year goals professionally? What makes you different from other candidates?
