There were two interview stages, first a virtual recorded video, and the second in-person. The hiring process was very easy and straight-forward. However, the manager I spoke with during the in-person interview was unfortunately a bit rude. While I was answering his questions, he was working and watching videos on his computer, yawning constantly, reclined in his chair, and even interrupted me on a few occasions as if to "hurry me up." I understand that he probably took time away from a busy day to speak with me, but there is no need to make a potential new team member feel like an annoyance. I don't expect bubbly or even a smile, just at least be...normal? professional? Despite the attitude, I kept my composure during the interview and ended up being offered the position. I declined. I typically give people the benefit of the doubt, but if he was like that in the interview, I cant imagine working under his management. P.s. I want to add, the rest of the staff that I spoke with while there was incredibly sweet and warm.
