      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Duke Health

      Interview

The process was long. There was about an hour long phone call and afterwards the supervisor shared that she would let final candidates know who would be moving forward to the next interviews. I was selected and scheduled for three zoom interviews that began around 9 am with different individuals within the company. The last of the three was with the supervisor again who conducted almost the same exact interview in the phone conversation. Afterwards I was provided two writing samples to be completed and told that I would be provided an update either way. These interviews were completed by 6 pm. A long day for someone who had a job and could luckily work from home.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Duke Health (Durham, NC) in Mar 2020

      Interview

The first interview was a phone interview which was about an hour long. The manager introduced herself and gave a general rundown of the position. She then asked general questions and then moved into some behavioral questions. After that manager informed me that over 100 applicants had applied for the 1 available position and that she would let me know if I were selected for the second interview process. About a week later the manager let me know that I had been selected for the second round of interviewing and provided updates about time and dates. I was to provide a list of references as well. A week later I interviewed with a care coordinator, a risk manager and unit nurse who asked a round of behavioral questions. I then interviewed with the current advocate who provided me with an introduction and general rundown of the position. My last interview was with the manager again who asked more behavioral questions, some very similar to our first phone interview. After this was over I was to submit two written responses to the manager as well.
