I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Eaton (Pune) in Jun 2021
Interview
I was interviewed for the role of a power electronics intern. There were two rounds of interview, namely the Technical round and HR round. The technical round was for 45 mins and HR round was for 20 mins
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical round questions are mostly around the basics of rectifier circuits, embedded systems (MSP430 and PIC18F), communication protocols (UART,I2C and SPI)and little bit of MOSFET and IGBT questions. They might also ask you about the projects you've done and any previous internship experience. The HR round revolved around situation based questions and about goals, where you see yourself in 5 yrs etc. The questions also might be a little towards ethics and company culture fit.
Discussed my resume projects in detail and solved multiple Data Structures and Algorithm questions, which formed the core focus of the interview, testing my problem solving approach, coding logic, and technical understanding of fundamental computer science concepts.
