Edwards Performance Solutions interview questions

Their interview process is a series of about 3 to 4 interviews. Because the CEO was interested in me for another position (that turned out not to be available), mine was a total of 5. Things started off fine, but then it was clear the team wasn't interested in me for the role I initially interviewed for all because I had government experience in my past and I was interviewed for a commercial role. They ended up going with another candidate that had been at his previous position for 10 years or so. That's all well and good and I understand that. But then they brought me back in to interview for another role which the CEO thought I'd be well suited to. This is where things got frustrating. It was clear the person I interviewed with had no real interest in hiring for the supposed position. It was clear that he hadn't done any preparation in advance of the interview. He was literally just sitting there reading from my resume and asking the most surface level questions. He asked virtually nothing as it relates to the position, job responsibilities, the day-to-day etc . It was almost like this interview was forced upon him. I'm pretty sure it was. Keep in mind, I drove 45 minutes for this interview that I arrived early for, yet it did not start on time. The experience was night and day from the initial team I interviewed with that seemed way more organized and asked more impactful questions. Roughly a week goes by, I reached out to the recruiter (when it should have been the other way around) and they tell me the position has been frozen. I just wish they had cut me loose sooner rather than come back to interview for a position they were clearly not ready or willing to hire for. All I ended up with was wasted time, wasted gas, and wasted energy.
