Three stages interview: Offline programming test followed by a technical interview to discuss the solution provided. Last stage was a chat with the technical lead of the project. The first 2 stages are required to enter their associate network.
I applied online. I interviewed at Equal Experts in Feb 2025
Interview
First interview was a chat with a hiring person from their side. Second round was a technical interview. I spent several hours on the technical interview, only for my application to be rejected because the team had problems with frontend visual choices I made. No feedback on the actual functionality or logic of my work. Just visual issues, which were irrelevant. You put in hours worth of work and they won't even give you a 30 minute call for you to explain your thought process, just an email. Don't bother.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Equal Experts (Pune) in Jun 2023
Interview
First round is about take home test where you will be building a simple application. (Focus on clean code, OOP and tests) Second round was technical discussion where they discuss the take home assignment, a new feature on top of that, and your project. Third round is consultancy round where they talk about your career, past experiences, impact you have created in last work and any doubts that you have. I got the offer post that (initial breakup) and the hiring freeze happened for 2 weeks.
<Update>Post that I got the revised offer and I accepted it.</update>
