This interview process was lengthy and felt ingenuine. It was a 4 part interview that included a HR screening, lengthy written assessment, brief hiring manager call, and a 3 hour gauntlet interview with 5 different team members. The interviews were not very conversational, more like the interviewers were reading off of a script and checking off boxes rather than truly trying to get to know the candidate. The founder interview at the end was a disaster. The CEO of the company joined the call from her treadmill in her home gym and proceeded to conduct the interview while working out. She was very cold and impersonal. She gave off the vibe that I was inconveniencing her by being on the interview. Lots of curveball questions focusing on weaknesses rather than strengths. Overall an unpleasant interview experience. The one thing I’ll give them credit for is they provided a follow up all to provide feedback and they do not hold back with the feedback. The vibe I got from this company is they are extremely critical and lack a human element.
