I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Faire (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2022
Interview
The process was very quick (2 weeks I believe?); New Grad. First was a phone call with the recruiter, nothing technical. Then I was sent a Codesignal test right after. I had a previous score in the 790s so I submitted that. Very quick response after the Codesignal to schedule a final round of 2 technical interviews and 1 interview with a hiring manager. The two technical interviews weren't exactly Leetcode questions. It was more about reasoning through and implementing 'practical' code. The interview was structured in a way that you are essentially pair programming with the interviewers which was really fun. Then final round with hiring manager was purely behavioural. Response the next day with an offer. Amazing experience. Recruiter is responsive and interviewers were fantastic to talk to. Really smart engineers from top tier tech backgrounds are working at Faire. Rocket ship start-up with no clear competitors in a hot market and best offer I've gotten in Toronto (beats FAANGs in terms of comp.).
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Faire (Waterloo, ON) in Sep 2022
Interview
The interview was 60 minutes and they asked me to solve one leetcode type question. The platform they used was coder pad. Interviewer was very nice, was helpful throughout the process.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Faire (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2021
Interview
Applied online on their website . I had a 30 min phone call with HR . Then did an online technical assessment on CodeSignal and scored only 650 .
CodeSignal questions were not too difficult but the time is tooo short and questions wording is very bad.
Please consider using a different client than CodeSignal.
