      Interview

Was contacted by a recruiter to schedule a 20-minute screening call. Unfortunately, the conversation felt more like rapid-fire questioning than a discussion about my background, experience, and interest in the role. I received a rejection email a few days later. For senior-level roles especially, I believe recruiter screens should feel more conversational and give candidates an opportunity to discuss both their experience and mutual fit.

      Question 1

Aside from briefly asking about my background and why I was interested in the opportunity, there wasn’t much room for meaningful conversation.
