I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Fetch (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2021
Interview
Fast and to the point. The team is very knowledgeable and, as such, asks direct questions in regard to experience.
Designing a product as a challenge is itself a fun task to work on.

Before speaking with a recruiter, they make you do an assignment that takes “less than two hours” to complete. Some have spent 8 hours and have been rejected. My time is too valuable to spend more than 2 hours on something where they barely spent 5 minutes on me. Final note, the CTO (who is toxic per Glassdoor reviews) now runs the PM org too, so PMs who are desperate and willing to tolerate a toxic environment will take a lot of time to make a perfect submission to get to the next step in the process, creating adverse selection bias.
Process started with questionnaire about evaluating the product (e.g. what will you improve) by downloading the app, after submission was sent second questionnaire. Then had a recruiter interview and later rounds of hiring manager and a manager interview. Questions were only around the product itself. looks like the team is trying to get a free feedback and review. Heard from few others too.

RED FLAG: Any company that asks you to do work for free through a take home before having a recruiter talk to you is a waste of time. This toxic interview process mixed with all the terrible reviews about workplace bullying and general toxicity will easily deter the best talent from Fetch
