The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fetch (Madison, WI) in Dec 2024
Interview
After applying was sent an automated take home task. The task was fairly simple, basically creating an application that downloads and sorts data. A week after submitting, got an automated rejection with no explanation. Requested some feedback on the project but never received a response. Github's insights shows that they never bothered to even look at the project before sending the rejection.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fetch in Jun 2022
Interview
I applied online since the job was as advertised as remote or hybrid in San Francisco (near my place).
I got a take home exam and was told the next step would be code review with a Senior SE. On the day after my submission, the recruiter told me that they changed the hiring strategy (no more remote or hybrid in SF). I decided not to move forward. In short, I wasted 20+ hours for nothing.
It's sad because I like Fetch Rewards very much.
