Two interviewers, one who asked for my birthdate (!!!)
The interview process was okay, except the woman in charge made it clear from the outset that I probably wasn’t what they were looking for, but that we’d plug ahead anyway. This made me wonder why I’d wasted my time preparing for the interview. This showed a lack of respect, and lack of professionalism.
The questions asked were pertinent to the role, although following the interview, never heard from anyone again. No formal rejection letter. Nothing. I’m a professional, with over 20 years of experience and do not expect to get every job I apply for. Courtesy, I do expect.
Good interview questions (except the one where they asked for date of birth), but after being told they'd inform me of the outcome, they never got back to me. Very unprofessional conduct from the HR team, after I spent much time preparing for the interview. As candidates, we do not expect to get the position, or even feedback, but ABSOLUTELY deserve an email telling us we were not successful. Not from this organisation, I'm afraid.
Many thanks for sharing your experience. You are totally right - not getting a feedback after a personal interview is indeed very unprofessional. We are sorry that this occurred to you. It is true that the selection process sometimes takes more time than we think, but all our candidates deserve a feedback as you say. Thanks for all your efforts and the very best for your career – on and off the pitch. Kind regards, your FIFA People & Culture Team
