I applied online. I interviewed at First Page Digital (Melbourne)
Interview
One of the worst interviews I’ve had, which had nothing to do with the offer, but the two leader who interviewed me were solely interested in gathering inside information about the competitor I worked for.
I refused to disclose any information about them, and 15 minutes in the founder of First Page came into the room, asks me the same questions and then proceeds to bad mouth others that have come from the same competitor
It was extremely clear that they weren’t interested in me at all, but just wanted to figure out how their biggest competitor did business so they could try and replicate it.
I effectively walked out after politely informing them that if they continued to ask for insider information the interview would be over, as I hold myself to a high ethical standard and am sure they wouldn’t want me going to competitors with information about their business had I worked there.
I wouldn’t advise anyone who comes from a large and successful agency to apply here, they will bleed you for info and kick you out inside three months. It’s happened to a few people I know

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at First Page Digital (Hong Kong) in Mar 2025
Interview
There were 2 round interviews including the written test. The first round interview was to chat with the HR such as why changing job and talk about the company background. However, the second round interview was a bit horrible that the leader didn’t review my CV before and randomly asked some unrelated questions. He didn’t even pay attention to my self introduction, which led to a mess of conversation. Please think before you take this position.

Question 1
Why changing from creative agency into digital agency?
Had an initial interview which felt more like an interrogation rather than a vibe check. Got pop quizzed on platform knowledge. After this, a task was given that was to be sent back. Based on the task they can offer for the role. Did not enjoy the experience and would not take the role.
