Assessment Day made up of a 1 on 1 interview, group task and Maths and English test. During the interview I was also asked to prepare a presentation on the future of risk assurance.

Interview
All of it was conducted online through Zoom. Taking the same form as a regular assessment centre I found it was well orchestrated and the interviewers were extremely nice.

Interview
It was a telephone interview conducted in the morning. This was the third stage after submitting my application, and finishing the tests. The lady who interviewed me was very cheerful and positive, making sure I was not nervous before launching into the technical questions. We made quite a bit of small talk in between, which I had not expected, but which certainly made this interview one of the best ones I have ever had.

They asked me why I wanted to work for Mazars, and why this role in specific.
I was asked to answer some competency based questions, about things like a great challenge I have overcome, or evidence of my ability to work in teams.
