I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Forward in Nov 2023
Interview
The process involves an initial behavioral round followed by technical rounds. The behavioral round touched on topics of previous experience and what you look forward to in the future.
The interview seemed like a joke to me. The other reviews on Glassdoor about the interview process were spot on.
These were the reasons I felt my experience was terrible:
1. The interviewer was late to the meeting.
2. The person was in such a rush throughout the process.
3. Every time I answered, he took notes which is great, but he seemed like he was expecting me to say specific keywords (the person was mumbling words). A chatbot could effectively do his job.
4. It felt more like an advertisement for the product.
Many things went well, which I really appreciate:
1. The expectations of the interview were clear.
2. They listen to your answer carefully (probably searching for keywords).

Why forward?
What is your definition of impact?
What are the other companies you applied to and why?
Great! Focused system design + average leetcode questions. Behavioral interview was very nice and straightforward. Systems design interview include building a scribe tool for doctors to use. Was more a paired session with the interviewer.
It was pretty normal as far as interviews in tech go for entry level engineers. It felt like they were spending more time selling me on their product than on questioning me. Some standard Leetcode style question.

Something about the minimum travel distance on a keyboard grid.
Medium difficulty. Interviewed before the company abruptly shut down. Like the team, did not get many specifics about the business, particularly regarding the care pods. It was a few phone screens and then onsite.
