They are thorough. You submit a resume and they pull you in for a 1st interview, typically with 2 supervisors. This is all your typical interview questions. The textbook interview questions. Then for the second interview they ask you to bring in another person in your life (a spouse or significant other, parent, close friend, long time roommate, etc.) The point of this interview is to get to know you and the kind of person that you are. They asked my then fiance and I questions about us, our plans with school and work, what do you do for fun, tell us a little about you guys and what you like to do, etc. Then there is a 3rd interview. Typically if you can get to the 3rd interview, they probably think you would be a pretty good fit and would be willing to give you a shot. In the 3rd interview, you walk through the office and do a quick intro/ mini interview with everyone in the 4 office spaces we have in the building. They want everyone in the company to be comfortable working with people they hire on. They also want their new hires to get a chance to get familiar with the company and what the day-to-day looks like in each department and position. I have also heard that they are pretty thorough about social media checking, though I haven't had confirmation of this.
Overall they are a great company, and the intense interview process is worth it. I came in applying for an entirely different position, and they ended up putting me in accounts receivable and it is the perfect fit for me. They do a great job of placing their employees in positions that they will enjoy most and thrive in.
