Only had a screening zoom call with the recruiter, she previously didn't answer/dodged my question through her original query on my Linkedin to see if I was interested in the role. In the call she wanted to see if I was "really" okay with the commute and proceeded to tell me how long it would take to get to their job site which is only hybrid (3 days in office/2 remote) which was quite substantial. I asked for a compromise on the commutes but she or the company wouldn't budge on modifying the in-office days (which this work can most definitely be done remote or at home). Despite this initial dis-encouragement for the role I said I still wanted to move forward to see how I would do in this interview. It proceeded like normal with some slightly difficult questions asked. The call was only about 10 mins long and she said I would hear back in a few days on if I would move forward or not, and I was then ghosted and never heard back for the role. Extremely unprofessional and poor behavior on their hiring manager's part and she had a RBF to boot.
