Applied to the job through an external recruiter who it turns out had to then forward everything to their internal recruiter who seemingly only books meetings. The people I spoke to in the interviews seemed nice and genuine. Realistic about working practises and generally good people. However there seems to be a disconnect between the job listing, what they're actually hiring for the the questions the guys in the interviews are asking. It felt like the developers want a senior but the person writing the listing and setting the salary doesn't know that. Which was confirmed when I got offered the job for 3k under the bottom end of the listed range despite an actual senior going for 50% more than what they're offering and my recruiter trying to push the top end higher.
