Fur interview questions

Worst interview experience I’ve ever had hands down. I was reached out to by the CMO on LinkedIn and interviewed with her directly, then the Senior Brand Manager. I thought I had two strong interviews with them but then was ghosted. A few weeks later, my current coworker thanked me for recommending them for that same position I interviewed for. As it turns out, the CMO lied to my coworker (who was one managerial level above me) and told them that I recommended them for that same position when I did no such thing. I realized after the interview that they had asked me specific questions about processes at my previous company and who did what. I was a bit naive and probably should have know, however it was such a horrible thing to do to someone in an interview process! Red flags all around, watch out.
