I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Futures First (Calcutta) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview has a pre screening which had basic questions like why do you want to join here but it was mentioned in the JD that they need freshers and yet the HR person continued to say me you do not have experience in this field as a statement without listening to me.
The interview process consisted of two technical assessments followed by a combined technical and HR interview round. The technical assessments focused on problem-solving, coding, and basic computer science concepts. The interview was relatively straightforward, covering my projects, technical skills, programming knowledge, and behavioral questions. The interviewers were friendly and supportive, making the overall experience comfortable and smooth. Proper preparation of DSA fundamentals, core CS subjects, and project discussions was sufficient to perform well in the process.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Futures First (Roorkee) in Dec 2025
Interview
I just had 2 rounds, both were basic questions (no puzzles, math questions). They also checked if I had interest and previous experience in trading. This was through my campus process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just one math question was asked 3 digit * 2 digit in first round. Rest all were basic introduction and convincing why I am fit for the role and what qualities do I think a trader should have. Situation where I took calculated risk, etc. And also details on where do I come from and what my family does.
