I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Shannon) in Jun 2009
Interview
It was a phone interview as part of an application for my college internship/co-operative education. Nothing very special, it involved the usual vanilla questions about personality, background, aspirations etc and some technical questions, some of which were simple, some not so much. Spoke with a nice guy from the IT department. No face to face interview required. Awaiting response.
It was a friendly environment. It took nearly 2 hours with group case and technical and HR questions. questions were about daily life and personality as well as technical acknowledge
It was not too hard, overall the questions were not very difficult. The first round was a HireVue questionnaire where they asked basic questions in a multiple choice or short answer format.

Interview
The interview process felt natural and conversational, which helped me feel comfortable from the start. The questions flowed smoothly, allowing me to express my thoughts clearly without feeling rushed. Overall, the relaxed and supportive atmosphere made the experience feel more like a discussion than a formal interview, reducing stress and making it an enjoyable interaction.
