Three rounds of interviews, first two were phone interviews that were largely behavioral. Third interview was a 3 hour video conference with multiple teams. It was very impersonal with them only asking questions off a paper. The questions would usually begin with a STAR type question for a technical project, then after you answer they grill you on the technical details. Got rejected at the end of the interview, which made the whole thing feel like a waste of time.

What is your favorite part of the Engineering Design Process?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Columbus, OH) in Oct 2024
Interview
Preliminary call to setup technical interview and a couple engineering questions with one specific about jet engines. Overall good experience and very nice people. Allowed time for questions and any other inquiries.
I applied online. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Istanbul) in Mar 2024
Interview
I attended the technical interview. Before the interview, HR informed me about to prepare a presentation. The interview was okey, it continued 1 hour and they asked me about my projects and the presentation. Beside that, last part of interview included some basic technical questions.
The worst part of the interview that the HR could not response me more than 4 weeks. Because of that, I had to sent a mail about that. I believe that the employer should inform the interviewers.
