I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Garner Health Technology
Interview
Heard about Garner from an external recruiter, spent 30 minutes learning about the role. Had a 30 minute interview with a team member later that week and asked to instead be considered for the data scientist role since it better fit my background. The team was open to it and sent me a case study to be completed within a 48hr window.
Reviewed the case study in an hour long interview and got positive feedback on my approach. Did three one-hour interviews back to back and got an automated rejection email two days later.
They don't do a great job of emphasizing their culture upfront, so be prepared to invest 5hrs + a case study before learning you may not be a good fit.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Garner Health Technology
Interview
I went through recruiter screening, initial technical screening, hiring manager, then 2 rounds of behavioral interviews with two VPs. Didn't get the offer - I suspect because they were looking for very particular answers during the behavioral round and would hire only a person who aligns not just culturally but also 100% aligned with those two VPs. The position has been not filled still (it's been reposted multiple times, 6 months at least) - which is not surprising given that the person they are looking for may not exist.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Garner Health Technology (New York, NY) in Dec 2025
Interview
Not too difficult at first glance, was mainly about how to measure/rank doctor performance based on different sample size of patient outcomes for each doctor. There seemed to be an emphasis on recommending other external data to use besides just the doctors sample performance which, I believe, is the reason I didn’t make it to the next round as I did not catch on to this quick enough.
