The interview was very straightforward and simple. HR was very communicative. Prepare like you would for normal interviews, research the company and understand what they do. Come prepared with questions.
I was given a sample powerpoint ahead of time to teach in the video call and asked behavioral questions. I was also given a small code to debug. The call was around 1 hr in length.

Question 1
What was a problem in a team you encountered and how did you fix it
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Girls Who Code (New York, NY) in May 2016
Interview
A phone screening followed by an in-person interview with 2 associates that lasted about 2 hours. The questions were largely about my general experience, interests, philosophy, etc and not particularly challenging. I remember it was quite fun and the people were receptive and engaging. All in all, it was a just a back and forth conversation about everything without any specific agenda.
There was a small communication gap between when I interviewed and when they would tell you about next steps.
