      Analyst Interview

      Oct 4, 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gordon Brothers

      Interview

The interview process featured a lot of really kind people but I did feel like the number of interviews were a bit excessive - perhaps it was just scheduling issues with different people and its not usually like that, but it was a lot of time on multiple days spent interviewing before an offer was made, and the interviews were practically identical. 2 interviews would be plenty if you can schedule multiple people per interview. I did enjoy that the interviews were virtual video interviews, and they were very flexible on times.

      Interview

During the hiring process, I completed four interviews. The first two were conducted by HR representatives, focusing on my background, resume details, and overall fit for the company. In the third and fourth rounds, I met with multiple hiring managers who evaluated my technical skills through a hands-on exam and problem-solving exercises, making the experience both challenging and informative.

      Analyst Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Brampton, ON
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gordon Brothers (Brampton, ON)

      Interview

The entire process took 2 months, which was excessively prolonged and could have been much more efficient. I was interviewed by 4 separate people and had to go through 3 behavioural interviews and 1 technical interview over the course of 2 months. My final interview was very confusing, meeting with the COO and having to answer very difficult questions that I felt did not reflect the actual requirements of the job. Additionally, for my final interview with the COO, I was asked technical questions when I had been told by the hiring manager that I should not prepare and instead ,the interview was a "get to know me" easy interview. On top of this, after going through 4 interviews and speaking with multiple people at the company, I was not even notified of my rejection, I had to wait 3 weeks to email them myself and ask for an update, which at that point, they had already chosen another candidate.
