I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Guesty (Toronto, ON) in May 2025
Interview
I applied online and was reached out through email by a recruiter for a phone screen interview set for Friday May 9th. I noticed the recruiter checked my LinkedIn a day earlier and proceeded to cancel the interview a few hours before it was scheduled politely asking for a different date, I responded to said email as soon as I saw it on the same day with a different date but didn't hear back from her. I had to chase by following up regarding the opportunity on May 14th and was scheduled for a phone interview the next day after working hours my time which I quickly agreed to. I actually had a great call experience with the recruiter on the phone with a promise to provide feedback on Friday or Monday of the next week once interview notes was forwarded to the hiring manager. I don't know how many recruiters work on a Saturday, but I did receive the classic rejection email which I don't think was professional. The follow- up just to make sure that the interview happened and then feedback on a weekend showed that I wasn't respected as a candidate during the interview process.
