There were 2 rounds of interview. Interviews were good. They asked proper position related questions. Once I finished both rounds they ask me for my reference details, I shared with them. They call me following week saying that there are some disturbance in the understanding my previous role and they requested for another reference. I gave them all requested details. For a week, I didn't received a response from them, I had to follow up with them to find out the outcome of the reference check.
Every single stage I had to follow up with them to get an update on application which I found unprofessional. Moreover, if you have decided that you don't want to move further with candidates please let them know, don't wait for them to follow up with you and please don't request for reference check details again if you have already decided to reject the candidates.
I believe that the company just rejected me because of misunderstanding in reference check. Moreover, if you wanted the another candidates, you should have let me know at the 1st place that I'm rejected.
