It was pretty confusing for me since my whole interview took like 10 mins,
they asked me questions about my work , asked me a few questions here and there , although they looked confused about it as if they are doing it for the first time but they loved my work and the "talent recruiter" even told me that someone from accounts will get back to me with the paperwork necessary to be filled out, but for weeks they never did and i sent many follow up mails and after a month they told me they are recruiting more 3d modelers so they will get back at me once they have decided with them. I had to stall my job offer from another company for weeks since i really wanted to join guru but i guess the bigger the company gets, the more irresponsible their employees get too.
After 2 months of follow up (because i was over enthusiastic )they sent me a mail that "we have filled up all positions , thank you for your interest. Please try again later." Thats it.
I am very happy that i didnt joined the studio because the hiring process tells you how they must treat their employees.
Freshers and recent graduates get into this hype of working for a bigger studio without realizing that you are valued much much more working for a smaller studio and you learn a lot too.
I dont know anything about their pipeline and how they treat their employees but i wish they could improve their hiring process.
Good luck to them.
