Initial interview with recruiter was a casual chat, honestly pretty fun. Got tons of info and had a great conversation. Felt like I was setup for success.
Technical interview was fun too, interviewer said that I did well, impressive that my code ran. The problem was thought provoking but not too difficult. I enjoyed it. We talked a bunch after the coding portion was done. Another great conversation. Immediate feedback before we closed the call was positive.
Two days later, got a rejection with no feedback. I immediately sent an email to the recruiter I talked with and got radio silence for a full week, during that time I got an email asking for me to give feedback about my experience. After two follow up emails, feedback given was generic and didn't pertain to my ability to do the position at all, just unfamiliarity with technical coding interviews. Really soured the whole experience.
