I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HSBC in Jul 2009
Interview
the first process was a telephone interview, this was basically just a telephone conversation, assessing that you are human and just a general talk over your cv and application form. a few days later i recieved an invite for interview, preinterview i was given a few test then the interview started.
The interview was professional, well-structured and welcoming. The questions were clear and relevant, and the interviewer created a comfortable environment while giving helpful insight into the role. The process was formal but that is to be expected given the company
The interview consisted of going through the curriculum vitae. explaining why I am good for the role. and examples of instances i showed hsbc values. showed what my ambitions were.
