I got stood up. I applied on a Thursday and received a positive response through indeed the following afternoon (Friday). The only available interviews were the following business day, so that's what I chose. Lania promptly sent me a calendar invite, of which I accepted and marked on my calendar.
I showed up promptly for our 10:10am interview, and proceeded to sit there for 20 minutes without a call, text, email, etc. Meanwhile, I sent two emails stating that I was in the Zoom Waiting room. Nothing, so I left.
It's now 24-hours and I haven't even received an acknowledgment. No apology, no option to reschedule. It takes a certain kind of culture for something like that to be acceptable. I can't simply blame Lania. The fact that my only options were within 24-hours tells me there could be a lot of overly ambitious/unrealistic pressure on recruiting (or sales leadership). But, without accountability, I guess I dodged a bullet.
