It was a walk in without a JD and the recruiters begged me to attend knowing my experience and having my resume.
The interview was L1 and L2 together. The panel kept saying give technical details even when explained all project frameworks and tools used. It felt like they came with a decision to reject me before my interview or they were angry that they had to work on a Saturday.
Funny part was at the end of the interview I asked what technical skills are they looking for as there is no specific JD to the role, they replied with only 3 keywords RAG, Agents, LLM and i explained projects with all technical specifications for all these keywords. The feedback came later that I am having 3 years experience while the opening was for 8 to 10 years experience. If that was the case why was the HR and recruiters begging me to attend the interview. Seems like 2.5 rating on Glassdoor is justified by such behaviour from HR and senior tech people.
