I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Laguna Niguel, CA) in Aug 2018
Interview
The interview was easy but extremely long. Prepare to be there for about 2 or 3 hours if you’re hired. The interview was in person, and I spoke with two managers. They asked me some questions about my personality and how I’d deal with certain situations, then they gave me a mental math test with about 20 questions. I was hired on the spot and started that same week.
Very easy interview, they asked me the typical questions about my past experience, how I have demonstrated leadership in the past, why I wanted to join the company, my salary expectations, etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Temecula, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
The most unprofessional interview I have ever had! The hiring manager made me wait over a half hour. Don't schedule an interview at the time scheduled if you cannot be on time! She made eye contact with me once during the entire interview. She also answered her text messages and responded to her walkie during the interview. I'm not even sure how she is a manager; extremely unprofessional!
I applied online. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (DeKalb, IL)
Interview
Easy to find where I needed to go. It was a little discouraging to not see eye to eye though on scheduling ebe though I was upfront on my schedule. It seemed like I was being asked to work more than I was looking for.
