The RA interview process is pretty straightforward. Usually start by checking RA openings on the university or lab’s website, and submit an application or send a cold email to the professor. If they’re interested, they’ll reply to set up an interview time—communication is mostly over email. There’s usually just one round of interviews, and it can be either online or in person, depending on what works best for both sides.
