I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Hyperproof (New York, NY) in May 2024
Interview
The interview process was fairly straight forward. Starting with meeting a technical recruiter, a take home code challenge if the recruiter thinks you could be a good fit followed by a final round which included meeting with 2-3 engineers and team leads.
Second round included behavioral questions and coding task/pair programming.
Overall was a pretty good interview experience, the only caveat was that the whole process took well over a month, which seemed a bit excessive for 2 total meetings with 4 different people.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to write a unit test for a simple function, and then talk about why the test was named what it was, how it could be refactored, etc.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Hyperproof (Bellevue, WA) in Feb 2020
Interview
First had a phone interview with a coding question. Then 3 on cite interviews, all coding no behavioral. Overall fairly easy, and straight forward. The people were super nice and friendly!
