Straightforward process, well balanced three tier interview. Last interview was rather long (2.5h) and face to face. Factoring in travel if you're not in MK, expect to loose about 5h just for this.
The face to face interview was structured to assess skills and knowledge as well as management capabilities. I felt it went quite well and we were all on the same page.
Was told a few days later that they will be moving ahead (offer stage) with another candidate best suited for the role with no additional feedback.
Almost 4 months later I still see the role advertised and reposted, which led me to think they were untruthful and also signalling potential red flags since the description of the role is the same but the title of the role keeps changing: Legal Manager (Contracts)/Senior In-House Commercial Lawyer.
To support my claims, I found that the role has been first advertised in October 2024 and we are now in May 2025 with the role being reposted and re-advertised at least 10 times by now, according to LinkedIn.
I would avoid.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Walked through contract negotiation, liabilities, Data Protection, how to handle incomplete requests from stakeholders and a management skills assessment
Quick and efficient questions as expected for example why do you want to work for ICAEW etc friendly interviewers who wanted to get the most out of candidates offered role and happily accepted
A fair interview. Plenty of questions. Competence based and talk through of CV, plus tests. Panel of 3. All very positive, gave a very good impression of team and role.
