Interview
In the hiring process, they asked me to put away the resume as they had reviewed it and decided that resumes only say so much as do cover letters. They felt that a conversation between all parties involved expressed much more than a resume and or a list of clients and portfolio of client's successes and company successes of the past mattered very little. It was about right here and right now. How did it feel, how did we get along and what vision did I have for the company, what plan did they have for the company and what could i bring to the table. It was remarkably open, realistic and enjoyable. It was the right fit immediately and we all agreed on that. Then the tough topic of salary was covered so easily that I thought I missed it. Strong base, stock options, % of team and corporate performance and commissions.
