I applied online. I interviewed at INSCALE in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview process was taken around 2 weeks and it includes the following steps:
1- a phone call interview (10 minutes)
2- PI Cognitive Assessment and Behavioral Assessment
3- initial interview with HR (1 hour )
4- a technical assessment (a sortable react table)
5- a technical interview (general question about CSS, HTML and react, 1.5 hours)
6- a manager interview (30 minutes)
7- reference check
After all of these, you will get a job offer. I signed INSCALE job offer and rejected 2 other job offers and I really regretted it. They look at candidates as a business and forced you to work for at least more than one year if the company is good you don't need to force employees to stay with the company for more than 1 year. I declined the job offer because of the below reasons:
1- the contract is more toward employee rather than equality.
2- there was not any transparency between me and HR
3- the person who was in charge of the visa process was very rude to me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical questions were:
Explain CSS grid, HTML table structure, etc.
The technical test assessment is https://alex-safian.github.io/inscale-assessment/.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at INSCALE (Kyiv, Kyiv) in Apr 2024
Interview
They have 6 steps to hire you including a reference check/ personal test/ and many others. They rejected me during the HR interview stating that the reason was my English but it was clearly my nationality the interviewer's English was very bad instead of saying "firing someone" she said "quit someone".
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at INSCALE
Interview
It had a bit more phases than preferable, but the process was not bad. Interview with HR, with someone else from the company, with the client... I think they were 4 in total.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General Frontend questions for a medium level developer. Nothing outstanding, more of chat about the technology than anything else. Seniors have a test, as far as I'm aware.
