My interview with Inscale was a disappointing experience, primarily due to the unprofessional conduct of the technical interviewers. Both interviewers, non-native English speakers, had poor pronunciation, incomplete grammar, and fragmented sentences, making communication difficult. Despite my attempts to seek clarification, they refused to provide additional context or elaborate on deliberately vague scenarios from their finance domain, seemingly aimed at ensuring I couldn't answer. Their approach felt less like an evaluation of my technical fundamentals or expertise and more like a targeted effort to highlight my lack of experience in finance, often with sarcastic smiles when I referenced my healthcare domain background. During the coding challenge, I was given a 15 minutes to solve a business scenario, and despite completing it as per the requirements, one interviewer mocked a minor typo in variable naming and dismissed my valid solutions, insisting only her approach was acceptable. Their rigid mindset prevented any openness to alternative solutions, reflecting a lack of technical maturity. I also sensed bias and discrimination based on nationality, as I am Pakistani, while one interviewer was Indian and the other Chinese, both communicating in overly simplistic and unclear English. It felt like their agenda was to undermine me and assert superiority, perhaps influenced by my strong profile with multiple Microsoft and AWS certifications. Inscale has many teams, but it seems the interviewers I encountered were less experienced than me and possibly conducting interviews for the first time. From their behavior, I gained enough insights into the company’s culture and saw enough red flags to decide not to consider their offer.

Started with online personality and cognitive testing. Followed up with a 60-minute HR interview. The conversation covered my background, an introduction to the company's mission, and several behavioral questions. They also touched on basic technical knowledge.
